Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Tushingham Storm 5.2

As we were having Maeva for the day I was keen to get out in the morning so I could be back for the afternoon, with low water at 11.35 I had time to do my exercises in some sun to, Mag left just before ten and after a quick breakfast I headed down to The Manor and got prime position in Squiz Lane, at the end with grass to rig on around 10.30. At this point it did not look very promising, I thought I might try the fin for a change but the wind was cross-off and the sea looked a little lumpy. With the wind in this direction it was difficult to judge its strength so I was walked along the beach to the car park where the other sailers use and it was diffinately windier up that end but there was no others it fact there were only a couple of fin sailers out during the time I was there! I walked back and decided to set up my foil board again and was so glad I did as I ended up having a top session, it was heading for 5 stars until I had my last 2.50 run out to the shipping channel, flying all the way, gybed and the wind disappeared and I had a long wobble back, luckily the tide had turned so I made it back to my launch beach, had a few drops of run before the sun reappeared and the wind picked up to the strongest it had been all day but I had already sailed over 30 miles so I had had enough! Back to the start of the session, sail choice was a bit of a lottery, it looked breezy out to sea so went with my 5.2 which proved ideal for 95% of the session, I just love small sail foiling:) I decided to stay mainly in front of the launch beach with the sail sail and was happy doing runs out to the Wadegate post slowly beating towards Landguard to do so lovely long runs downwind, even better when the sun made an appearance:)
Then after my wobble back I headed for home to have a lovely afternoon with Mag and Maeva, she is a star at the moment chattering away and walking more and more! Then we walked her home in the breezy sunshine. The wind continues for a couple more days but am not sure what I am doing tomorrow as pretty knnackered from two days of sea sailing!
